The Dahon Curve D3 is a compact, sturdy folding bike, built for city commuting. With 16" wheels, it ensures a compact package with some added riding benefits: increased maneuverability and quicker acceleration. Equipped with Schwalbe Big Apple tires, the Curve D3 can handle the toughest roads. Big Apple tires are highly flat resistant due to their patented KevlarGuard, include reflective strips for visibility and safety, can grip the road in all riding conditions, and feature built-in suspension. We made a point to aim for pot holes while riding the Curve D3 when we first got it in the shop, and we didn't feel a single one.

The Curve D3's simple 3-speed shifting is intuitive, covering a range that is more than sufficient for city riding. We took the Curve D3 up one of the steepest hills in New York City and the lowest gear was plenty. Bright red in color, the Curve D3 is definitely visible: to the surrounding traffic and to the throng of infatuated onlookers. Equipped with fenders and a rack, the Curve D3 has everything you could want in a commuter bike.
